       Technically, anything that diverts from the main story, like flash backs, asides, etc. are “filler.” Even in the manga they would be termed “fillers” because it is simply something to buy the writer time to develope the main story, while still releasing content.

      Alll you fans are a bunch of retards. Its a cartoon you knob! its animation,,, oh anime,,, what does that mean? アニメ is a japanese abbreviation of animation,,, animation is cartoon in this instance. People refer to it as anime to distinguish between Japanese and other animation.

        acually there is a huge difference :

        anime weather it be japanese chinese american, ect: is “fight based” what i mean by that is there is a external conflict in every episode

        as opposed to “cartoons” that vary from almost no conflicts at all, to a conflict at every turn (i.e. dora)

        so no….. naruto is not a cartoon =P
